Karen is an invaluable coach in dealing with issues of emotional eating. She helped me to look inward through a variety of exercises to discover what my emotional triggers were in regards to unhealthy food choices. Karen is a great listener, asks the right questions, empathizes and makes you feel understood. She leads you on a journey to see the positive in yourself, set boundaries and to deal with those nagging thoughts that trip you up. I highly recommend Karen to help you start a healthier journey in life.

I found a quote that sums up my experience with Karen and the 4Real program. “I have a whole new relationship with food. One that feels exciting, easy, healthy and is based on a foundation of self-love.” I have tried to eat healthy in many ways over the years and it only lasted so long. My discipline ran short. It’s not a program of deprivation; things I can’t eat. It is one that encourages finding healthy foods, and includes “sometimes snacks”. I am learning to find motivators that will celebrate success in the challenges we set for life changes. It was a great help to have someone to talk with that had knowledge in the area of food, exercise and lifestyle that I could bounce my ideas and struggles off on. I liked the recipes laid out in the two week cleanse. I didn’t have to come up with the dreaded “what to eat”. I lost six pounds and that was a boost for my “nothing works for me”. I enjoyed our weekly chats and appreciated the occasional text or email between talks when I had a question. Karen exudes everything this program is about: being in good health, vibrant personality, positive attitude and lots of ideas, examples and suggestions. I would highly recommend Karen to coach anyone interested in Holistic Health and general well-being.

After working with Karen for the 4 week InBalance program I feel lighter. I lost 3 inches around my waist, 2 inches in the arm and 2 inches around my thighs. I needed the push to move forward with a healthier lifestyle. The biggest thing I learned from this was the proper food I needed to fuel my body with. This wasn't just a four week program, it's a change in lifestyle and habits. Karen was always happy to provide recipes and guidance, it was a pleasure to work with her.
